1871 Rocky Mountain Directory and Colorado Gazetteer

This directory includes the area of Colorado Territory. The territory was organized in the wake of the Pike’s Peak Gold Rush of 1858–1862, which brought the first large concentration of white settlement to the region. On 1 Aug 1876 it was formed into the state of Colorado.
