A. Stanley, in the oil business; in 1885, representative of the Oil Dept., of Armour & Co.; in 1889, with J. F. Grace; organized the firm of 13. W. Housum & Co.; the firm, as now organized and incorporated, represents The American Sugar Refining Co., The Postum Cereal Co., Armour & Co., Fels Naphtha Soap, and other important concerns; member Baptist denomination; Republican; Mason, member Woodward Lodge, No. 508, A. F. & A.
