Comerford, John Joseph; plumbing contractor; born, Cleveland, March 1, 1868; son of John and Bridget Elizabeth Fennel Comerford; educated, St. Patrick’s Parochial School; married, Cleveland, Oct. 16, 1889; Anna D. Dolan; asst. plumbing inspector in 1893-1894; did the plumbing in the mansion of Colonel Morgan in Alliance, O., all piping was made of brass, costing about $13,000; trustee and director Cuyahoga Plumbing Supply Co.; pres. of the Local Union, No. 35, in 1892; treas. Cleveland Master Plumbers’ Ass ‘n, in 1904, and pres. in 1905; member The Builder’s Exchange; pres. of the Cleveland Master Plumbers’ Club, 1912, treas. in 1911.
