S. and Emily (Hooten) Gresham; educated in commercial and private schools, Sheffield; married; two sons and one daughter, went to work in cutlery factory at 134 years of age; learned the practical making of pocket cutlery; at 19, was manager of W. Nealthy & Son, pocket knife dept.; came to America in 1886; three years member First York and Lancaster Light Infantry; sergeant, four years; trustee Village of Lakewood; private sec’y to J. H. Wade since 1892; British Vice Consul since 1909; Past Grand, Tyrian Lodge, I. 0. 0. F.; member Cleveland Yacht, Athletic and Western Reserve Cricket Clubs. Recreations: Cricket, Billiards and Gardening.
