Ozette Connections. The Ozette were a southern branch of the Makah and belonged to the Nootka branch of the Wakashan linguistic family.
Ozette Location. On the Ozette Lake and Ozette River in Clallam County.
Ozette Villages.
- Ozette, at Flattery Rocks.
- Sooes, 4 miles south of the Makah village of Waatch.
Ozette Population. (See Makah Indians.) A single Ozette Indian was reported in 1937.
