Glenn E. Leslie died last Friday, September 19, 1919, at Joseph, after an illness of only a few days. He had not been in rugged health for some years, and at the last, a weakness of the heart proved fatal. At the first of the week Mr. Leslie went fishing for yanks at the head of the lake. Well Known Auto Salesman Killed Harry Weaver an automobile salesman for the Inland Motor company, working out of La Grande, was instantly killed when his car turned over at Joseph Sunday afternoon. Hugh Campbell who was in the car with Weaver was only slightly bruised. Witnesses to the accident report that Weaver was driving at a rate of speed exceeding fifty miles an hour.
