Rynearson, Marvin – Obituary

Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon Child Passes Away Marvin Rynearson, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Rynearson, died at Doernbecker hospital in Portland Monday, Jan. 29, 1940. The parents went with the baby to Portland a couple of days earlier in the hope of finding treatment to meet the needs of the child. They arrived back in Joseph yesterday for funeral and burial services. The baby was born at Joseph March 5, 1939, and was survived by its parents and one sister. Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon Services Held For Lyle Boner Memorial services for Lyle Boner who passed away at his home Sunday, Dec. 9. 1973, were yesterday (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at the Bollman Chapel with Rev. Gertrude Sorlien officiating. Organist was Maxine Kooch and soloist was Clifford Collingsworth who sang “Whispering Hope” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” Casket bearers were: Herb Reavis, Leonard Whitten, John Freels, Milo Fairchild, Clyde Hays and Kirk Hayes. Enterprise Jennie Martha Action passed on March 2nd at Enterprise. She was born Feb 7, 1879 at Weston, Ore., daughter of George and Welthy Serelda Kimberly Birdsell. She was married to James E. Action June 24, 1900. He passed on in 1909. Mrs. Action was member of the Rebekahs, VFW Auxiliary, H. O. Club, Past Noble Grands Club and was baptized in the Baptist Church. Annie Elizabeth Tyler passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 1941, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank J. Hambelton, where she had made her home during winter months for the past six years. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Chet Ingram Killed Under Wheels of Logging Truck Marr Flat Mishap Fatal to Logger Chester Ingram, 36, of Joseph was instantly killed about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning when a logging trailer ran over him during logging operations on Marr Flat. The truck which struck Ingram was driven by Wilbur Curry of Joseph. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Charles Andrew Simmons, 90, a life-long resident of Wallowa County, died on Thursday, Feb. 21, 1980, at Wallowa County Nursing Home, where he was a resident since 1975.
