In both cases there are wills that fall outside those dates.

Biographical Sketch of F. W. Fritz

F. W. Fritz, a native of Prussia, emigrated to Dodge County, Wisconsin, with his family in 1856. He served in the Thirty-sixth Wisconsin Infantry during the Civil War. After the war, he farmed in Iowa and later moved to West Point, where he engaged in merchandising and operated a branch store. In 1873, he established a grist mill in Madison and was involved in local merchandising. Fritz became County Treasurer in 1879 and was re-elected in 1881.
