Adda Alene Bay Services Friday
Memorial services will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 2 p.m. at the Bollman Chapel for Mrs. Adda Alene Bay who passed away at the Wallowa Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning, Jan. 29, 1969, following an illness of one week. Rev. James E. Jones will officiate and Mrs. Geneva Johnson will be organist. Interment will be in the Enterprise cemetery.
Mrs. Bay was the daughter of Ben and Sarah Ownbey and was born at Enterprise on July 31, 1891. October 1, 1911 she was married at Enterprise to Wayne Alfred Bay who preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1967. She had lived on the Imnaha most of her life.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Elzie (Bonneita ) Lewis, of Imnaha; one son, Arthur D. Bay of Salem; one brother, Arthur J. Ownbey of Seattle; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
