Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Services Today For Wayne Bay Wayne Alfred Bay, a farmer of Imnaha until retiring to Enterprise three or four years ago, passed away at Wallowa Memorial hospital on Monday, October 2, 1967. He had been in failing health about four years and a hospital patient four days. He was the son of Charles and Lucretia Bay and was born August 11, 1889 near Enterprise. Hilgard, Union County, Oregon Train Hits Man Near Hilgard An elderly Hilgard man, Guy Bay, 74, died in an apparent train accident Wednesday afternoon. Oregon State Police said today Bay was lying across the tracks just east of the Hilgard crossing when he was struck by a Union Pacific train. Railroad spokesman told police that the train engineer did not see Bay until it was too late to stop.
