C., and transferred to Camp Mills, Long Island. Sailed for France May, 1918. Promoted Mechanic Nov., 1918. Fought at St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, Verdun and Toul Sector. Mustered out of the service at Camp Jackson, S. C., March, 1919.
