Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon Mrs. Emery Mace died at her home in North Joseph, Sunday, November 1st, 1942, at the age of 50 years. Mrs. Mace had been ill but for a short time and did not appear seriously ill when she succumbed to a sudden heart attack. Margaret Snell was born on the small homestead on Imnaha January 13, 1892, the youngest daughter of Roy and Ida Snell. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon Mrs. James Marks passed away suddenly Thursday noon, June 14, 1928, at the family home at Joseph. She had just eaten dinner when she was stricken and in a few minutes the end came. Fred Fletcher McCully, father of Kermit McCully, of La Grande, died in a La Grande hospital Friday. Funeral services were held Monday in the Wallowa Methodist church with interment in the Prairie Creek cemetery at Joseph. He was born at Lebanon, October 8, 1870, and when about ten years of age, his parents came to Wallowa county where he grew to manhood. Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon Mrs. Wesley Duncan passed away at the family home in Joseph last Thursday morning, March 8. She had been confined to her bed for 15 months, following an attack of flue and had been a patient sufferer. The funeral was held Friday in the Methodist church at Joseph and the sermon was delivered by Rev. H.L. Ford, pastor of the Christian church at Enterprise. Employees remember Davis as a great boss Mr. Pioneer: He was active in community Carl Davis began his banking career as an assistant teller in 1939 at Baker State Bank, where he worked until he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard in July of 1942 He was honorably discharged in September 1945 as a radioman first class. He had studied medicine and become a practitioner in IA. 1868-1878 purser on Willamette River steamboats; 1880-1889, resident of Joseph, OR. Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon The body of Miss Eva Rumble, who died on March 19 in Santa Barbara, California, was brought back to Wallowa county on Saturday. Burial was in Prairie Creek Cemetery on Sunday. Miss Rumble was postmistress at Joseph for many years. Her health failing, she went with her parents in 1910 to southern California. All the members of her family, her parents and her brother Edward, were at her bedside when she died. Death was due to a complication of diseases. Enterprise Record Chieftain, Thurs. Robert Lindford Cole 1867 – 1950 Robert Lindford Cole was the son of Rev. William Person Cole Sr. AKA Wiley P. Cole and Catherine Lindord Misner Cole. Joseph, Oregon Jeri Clarneau Daggett died peacefully April 11, 2007, at Clarkston, Wash. She was 68. Mrs. Daggett was born Aug. 25, 1938, in Asotin, Wash. to Glen and Ella Williamson Clerneau. She married Ervin Daggett on Oct. 20, 1963 in Joseph. On Nov. 12, 1968, their son Eddie Daggett was born. Mrs. Daggett lived most of her life in Asotin County in Washington. Killed By Fall From His Horse Accidental Death Of Will Lord In The Mountains Will Lord of Pine Creek, a young man employed by Graves Bros. was killed by a fall from his horse two miles beyond the salt cabins on Lick creek in the mountains 20 miles southeast of Joseph, some time between 11 and 1 o’clock, Monday.
