Don Ward Moyers, 76, of Hillsboro, a former longtime Baker City resident, died March 16, 2007, at his home. His memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hillsboro Presbyterian Church. Don was born Aug. 2, 1930, at South Gate, Calif. He was the younger of two children born to Clifford and Margurrite Garneau Moyers. He was raised and educated in the greater Los Angeles area. Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Elkhorn Baptist Church, 3520 Birch St. Mrs. Moulton was born on June 28, 1915, at Dallas, Ore., to Philip and Ella Hausr Winters. Elmer La Grande Moulton, 92, of Baker City, died Sept. 24, 2005, at his home. At his request, there will be no funeral. Elmer was born on Oct. 22, 1912, at La Grande, the first child of Harry and Cora Moulton. Elmer grew up at Walla Walla, Wash. He received his early education at Walla Walla and then went on to Business School at Boise. Elmer married Georgia Mildred Rose in 1939 and they had two daughters: Rosemarie and Darla Jean. Dale Ivan Moulton, 69, a former Baker County resident, died Feb. 29, 2008, at Gresham. His memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairlawn Health Center Community Center, 1280 N.E. Merle Marie Motley, 92, of Tillamook, a former longtime Baker County resident, died April 28, 2009, at her home. She was born on Oct. 23, 1916, at Baker City to James and Linnie Holt Gilkison. Merle worked in the shipyards during World War II. She also worked as a beautician as a young woman. Merle married Lester L. Motley on Nov. 25, 1939, at Weiser, Idaho. Edna Motley, 87, 1500 Valley Ave., a former longtime Pine Valley resident, died Wednesday morning, April 1, 1981, at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital after a long illness. Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Pine Valley Presbyterian Church in Halfway. The Rev. Sidney Sandusky will officiate. Interment will follow at Pine Haven Cemetery. Huntington, Oregon Robert Eugene Mosley, 53, of Huntington, died Aug. 13, 2004, at his home. His memorial service will be scheduled later. Robert Eugene was born on Nov. 17, 1950, at Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Robert Joseph and Lois Pearl Sells Mosley. When Robert was only 18 months old, his family moved from Missouri to Oregon. Wolfgang Richard Moser, 71, of Baker City, died April 21, 2006, after a massive cardiac event. Gary Eldon Moser, 62, of Bellevue, Wash., and a former Baker City resident, died Dec. 15, 2001, of complications from pneumonia. She was born Jan. 25, 1911, in Hyrum, Utah and was the youngest child of William H. Jensen and Alice Wilson. Gertrude married Boyd D. Iverson on July 22, 1936. They were later divorced.
