John Paul Mullins, 84, of Portland, a former Baker City resident, died with his wife, Rebekah, as the result of a car wreck near Damascus on April 30, 2007. He was honored with a military service at 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Scott National Cemetery in Portland. Mr. Mullins was a Baker City resident from the age of 3 until adulthood. His first wife was E. Claudine Biggs, also of Baker City. Survivors include his son, Paul; a a daughter, Peggy; five granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
