Dorothy M. Springer, 66, a resident of Baker City, died Sunday July 28 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Graveside services for Mrs. Springer were held Wednesday July 31 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Springer was born December 31, 1924 on a ranch near Haines, Oregon, the daughter of George and Cora (Jenkins) Davis. She married Theron Springer March 16, 1943 at La Grande, Oregon. She loved fishing, hunting and her family and most of all, life.
She is survived by four children, Terry Steve, and Jim Springer, daughter, Rebecca Henry, all of Baker City, Oregon; two sisters, Marie Relling of Baker City, Pat Sims, Tuson, Arizona; two brothers, George Davis of Glenrock, Wyoming and Bill Davis of Baker City, OR.; eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, and brother.
