Services Held For Glenn Sanday

Glenn Sanday, a retired farmer of Enterprise, formerly of Flora, passed away Sunday, June 16, 1974 at Wallowa Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for 24 days.
He had been in ill health for several months.

He was born July 21, 1904 at Flora and was the son of Ernest and Tina Sanday. On March 18, 1936 he was married at LaGrande to Louisa Hammack. He had lived here all his life.

Surviving is his wife, Louisa of the Enterprise home; two daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Bonnie Jean) McCall, Flora, and Mrs. Jay (Ella Mae) Wilks, Lostine; one sister Golda Ericson, San Diego, Calif.; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were yesterday (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at the Bollman Chapel with Rev. Joe Jewett officiating. Jeannette powers was organist and Clifford Collingsworth, soloist, sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “In the Garden.”

Casket bearers were: Merle Nuxall, Donald Prince, Ernest Sasser, Dave Murrill, Hubert Murrill, David Underwood and Dwight Underwood; and vault internment was in the Enterprise Cemetery.
