Huffman, Samuel G. “Sam” – Obituary

Samuel G. “Sam” Huffman, 69, died June 15, 2006, at his home at Settler’s Park.

He requested that he be remembered for his life and that no services be performed.
Samuel was born on Sept. 4, 1936, at Joseph. He drove logging trucks for several companies, including E.T. Carter Logging, Kenny Mills Logging and others. He loved logging; he always said it was in his blood.

He married his wife, Qwendolyn, and they moved to Utah with their three children.

Sam later moved to Wyoming after his wife’s death. There he built fence for Bruce Thayer Salvage off and on for 28 years.

While battling cancer he decided to move back home to spend the remainder of his life. He made his home at Settler’s Park, where his smile and sense of humor stole many hearts.

He will be missed by his newly found family at Settler’s Park and his many friends in Wyoming.

Gray’s West & Co. Pioneer Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
