Mrs. William F. (Annetta) Goebel of Wallowa, Oregon passed away Sunday, March 10, 1974, at Wallowa Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for five days. She had been in frail health for several months.
She was the daughter of Charles H. and Katie Ann Cole and was born on August 30, 1906, at Imbler, Oregon. She had been a resident of Wallowa for the past 54 years. On April 15, 1926, she was married at Enterprise, Oregon to William F. Goebel.
She was a member of the Wallowa Methodist Church and the Wesley Circle. She belonged to Carnation Rebekah Lodge 157 and the American Legion Auxiliary Kruse Unit #72, of Wallowa.
Survivors include her husband, William, of Wallowa; two daughters Joyce and husband Kenneth Ostrander of Bellevue, Wash. and Colleen Rhodes of Spokane, Wash., one sister, Mrs. W. J. (Mildred) McDow, Cornelius, Or. Two grandchildren, Vin and Vanessa Ostrander, Bellevue, Wash.
Interment at the Wallowa Cemetery.
