Medical Springs, Baker County, Oregon
Isaac Henry Craven, 81, of 915 Valley, died April 16 at St. Elizabeth hospital.
Mr. Craven was born at Medical Springs, Feb. 13, 1873. He attended school in Medical Springs then moved to Baker at the age of 21.
He was an engineer and carpenter, working in the sawmills around Baker. Mrs. Craven preceded him in death on Feb. 5, 1952. Mr. Craven was a member of the Christian church.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Norma Bennett and Mrs. Lora Yusko of Baker; Mrs. Lena Bechbiel of Portland and Mrs. Sadie Silvers of Sunnyvale, CA.; one son, Loren Craven of Boise; three brothers, Stewart Dolby, Medical Springs, Frank Dolby, Olympia, WA., and Lemuel Dolby of San Francisco, CA., 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday with the Rev. Joe Jewett officiating. Interment was in Mt. Hope.
