Norma Bobbitt, 77, of Enterprise, died Feb. 22, 2004, at home. She was born Jan. 27, 1927 in Oregon to Clarence Orkando and Elsie Josephine (Fretwell) Smith.
She married Ralph J. Bobbitt, who preceded her in death in 2000, in 1982. She worked in the clerical medical field.
Survivors include sons Scott Thompson of Oregon City, Dan Thompson of Los Alamos, N. M., John Thompson of Enterprise, and Kelly Thompson of Baker City, step sons Carl Bobbitt of Joseph, Thomas Bobbitt (residence unknown), and Dick Bobbitt of Athena; step daughters Patricia Zbylut of Cove and Kathy Lepper of Enterprise; a brother, Dan Smith of Enterprise, and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bobbitt, her parents, and one son, Kyle.
Memorial services will take place at the Bollman Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, with private interment of the cremains at the Enterprise Cemetery to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to hospice care, of Bollman Funeral Home, 315 W. Main St., Enterprise, OR 97828.
