Michael Allen, 31 Services Today
Michael James Allen, age 31, of Baker, passed away Monday evening, Feb. 28 at St. Elizabeth Hosp. as a result of a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, March 3, at 2 pm in the Langrell-Monroe Mortuary Chapel. Mr. Bill Bruns will officiate and the service will conclude in the Chapel. Private interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Michael was born July 12, 1951, in Hillsboro, to Alford and Dora Allen. They moved to Baker when Mike was very young and he attended Brooklyn Elementary School and graduated from Baker High School in 1969. After graduation he worked for Basche-Sage Hardware and the Forest Service. For the past 4 years he has been employed as a checker for Albertson’s in Baker.
He wed Nancy Jones in Baker March 5, 1976. He is a member of the Retail Clerks Union.
Michael is survived by his wife Nancy of Baker and their two children, Michelle and Ryan Allen; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alford Allen of Baker; a brother, John Allen of Kennewick, WA., a sister, Teresa Allen of Baker; his mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Jones of Baker; also numerous aunts and uncles, including Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dinnick and Mr. and Mrs. Desmond Sieg, all of Baker.
