Joseph, son of Jennie (Hendricks) Walkabout was born near Tahlequah in 1880 and educated in that city.

He married in Tahlequah in 1904 Mary Cordery, and they are the parents of: Jennie, Eliza and Josephine Walkabout.

Mr. Walkabout is a splendid representative citizen, has been Deputy Sheriff of Cherokee County.
