William Elmer Todd of Albert MN

William Elmer Todd7, (Miles G.6, Dan5, Charles4, Gideon3, Michael2, Christopher1) born Aug. 14, 1853, died Nov. 11, 1899, married Feb. 22, 1880, Alice I. Copeland, who was born Nov. 20, 1852.

He was a graduate of the Wisconsin State University and was admitted to the bar in 1881. He removed to Albert, Minnesota, where he was County Attorney for several terms and was for several years a member of the Republican State Central Committee for the State of Minnesota. Mr. Todd was one of the able men of the State and ranked high in the standard of his profession.

He was engaged in the examination of a witness in an important case in the United States Court, when the summons came that resulted in his death.

1763. Liela Copeland, b. July 9, 1888, m. Lawrence Paulson. Issue: Son, b. Aug. 9, 1911. In 1919, she lived in Albert Lea, Minn.
