Albert John Todd9, (Albert M.8, Alfred7, Caleb6, Caleb5, Stephen4, Samuel3, Samuel2, Christopher1) born April 24, 1881, married Oct. 14, 1911, Mary Elizabeth, daughter of Frederick M. and Edith (Gibson) Hodge, who was born July 1, 1890. Mrs. Todd is a graduate of Dana Hall, near Boston, Mass.
He is now (1919) and for many years has been vicepresident of the A. M. Todd Company being associated with his father and brothers in the manufacture of essential oils. He has made two trips abroad, the first in 1905 and the second in 1910, covering in his itinerary most of the countries of Europe, Northern Africa and Mexico.
Mr. Todd is now (1919) Mayor of the city of Kalamazoo, Mich., having been elected to that office by members of the City Commission upon his re-election for the second term to this governing body. He has also served on the Board of supervisors, and has helped to promote various patriotic and charitable organizations. He is also director in the Kalamazoo City Savings Bank and Home Savings Bank.
