Lester Wells officiating. Organist was Wanda Sorweide and soloist was Clifford Collinsworth who sang: “The Old Rugged Cross” and “In The Garden”. Enterprise, Oregon F.E. “Gene” Lockwood of Enterprise died June 15, 2007. He was 85. Mr. Lockwood was born near Florence July 7, 1922. His public school years were spent in Tacoma, Wash. After serving in WW II, he used his GI Bill to further his education, receiving a degree in Industrial Management. He retired from the Boeing Company in Seattle after 34 years. Enterprise, Oregon Mrs. Irene Hammack, who resided in Enterprise until two months ago, passed away at the home of her son, Lester, in Jamieson, Oregon, on May 1st, at the age of 74 years. She was born at Huntsville, Ark. Mrs. Hammack had been in poor health for several months and due to her physical disability, her son, Fred, went with her to Ontario where she might be near her other children and where she would receive medical care. Enterprise, Oregon William Peter Beaudoin Jr. died Sept. 8, 2005, at VA Cancer Center in Seattle, Washington. He was 79 years old. Beaudoin was born August 27, 1926 in Enterprise to William Peter Sr. and Alma Hattie Beaudoin. He graduated from Enterprise High School in 1944. Following school he enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corp and fought in World War II. He married Elizabeth Anna Burns on June 3, 1950. Mary Susan (Susie) Walls, died at the age of 89, January 3, 1981, at the Woodland Convalescent Center in Woodland, Washington. Born in Bolt, West Virginia, October 22, 1891, she was the daughter of William Thomas and Mary Frances (Cook) Clemens. She came to Wallowa County from West Virginia in 1907 and in 1914 married Russell E. Walls in Wallowa. He died in 1970.
