Born April 21, 1902 in Haines, the daughter of Arthur L. and Bertha Jarman Olson, Mrs. Maxwell was raised and schooled in Haines. Marvin Deloy Dowdy, age 55 of Baker City, passed away Sunday February 15th at his home. Graveside funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 19th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Mike Whitford from the First Christian Church officiated and interment followed in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Marvin Dowdy was born December 5, 1935 in Noelyville, Missouri to Adolph Dowdy who died in 1949 and Mabel Dowdy who died in 1980. Melvin attended Baker City schools.
