Flora F. Doyle, 88, of Baker City, died March 21, 2005, at St. Elizabeth Health Services.
Funeral services for Mrs. Doyle will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St. Pastor Ed Niswender of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Vault interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitations will be today until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Doyle was born Nov. 4, 1916, in Unity. She was a daughter of Jasper N. and Olive (Arthurs) Shelton, one of nine children. She was raised in Nyssa and received her education there.
She married George Doyle in July of 1934 in Weiser, Idaho. The family lived in various locations, settling in
Bend in 1956 and remaining there until moving to Baker City in 1973.
Mrs. Doyle was a homemaker raising the family. She loved to read, enjoyed her flowers and was a good cook. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael Doyle and James Doyle, both of Baker City; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter and eight brothers and sisters.
