m., on Nov. 5, 1624. Katherine Starkes. They had one son
L137 RALPH ALLEN: m. Esther Swift and had one son
L138 JEDEDIAH ALLEN: b. 1646; d. 1712; m. Elizabeth, dau. of Henry and
Mary Howland. Henry was the brother of John Howland, the Mayflower
Pilgrim. Their son
L139 EPHRAIM ALLEN: b. 1670. The name of his wife is not known. There
was a son
L140 JEDEDIAH ALLEN: b. 1695. He was twice m. First wife was Elizabeth
Corlies and second, Mary Chambless. Their son
L141 DAVID ALLEN: b. 1742, served in the Revolutionary War. He m. Rebecca
Thompson. Their son
L142 DAVID ALLEN: b. 1772 and d. 1852, m. Adeline Terhune. Their son
L143 JOHN TERHUNE ALLEN: b. 1811 and d. 1860, was twice m. and had
L144 WILLIAM PORTER ALLEN: b. 1858; m. Eleanor Graham Mathews and
had the following ch.:
(1) Eleanor Graham: b. 1883 and was twice m. First to Francesco
Carloni, of Florence, Italy, who d. 1916. They had Antonio, b.
1907; Eleanor, b. 1909; Francesco, b. 1910, and Wm. Porter, b.
1912. By the second m. to Aurelio Becattini, also of Florence,
Simonetta, b. 1921; Maria Gloria, b. 1922, and Giovanna, b. 1924.
(2) Harriet: b. 1884; m. John Marshall Williams, of San Francisco,
Calif. They had Jane, b. 1912, and Eleanor, b. 1914.
