Terence Keith “T.K.” Moody died peacefully at his home on Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, with his family by his side.
Memorial services are pending.
He was born on March 28, 1933, in Baker City. He is survived by his two daughters, Sherry Moody of Boise and Dana Moody Becker of Las Vegas, Nev. He has one grandson, Max. His sisters, Bev and Pat, and brother, Jerry, and their families will dearly miss him.
He was a 20-year resident of Alaska and was an avid hunter and fisherman. During most of his life, he worked in the telecommunications field, but wanted to be known simply as a “telephone man.” During the 1970s and 1980s he and his company traveled to remote villages in Alaska to establish and build their telephone systems.
He was known as an adventurer and traveled to the furthermost regions of Alaska.
His humorous stories of his adventures with their colorful characters will surely be missed by his nieces, nephews, and friends. His wry sense of humor, jokes, and twinkling smile will be missed by all.
