Lantz “Ray” Danser, 67, a proud veteran, died June 27, 2007, after a short battle with cancer. There will be a memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the McEwen Bible Fellowship on Highway 7. Survivors include his daughter, Shelley Ruth Arentz Danser of Baker City; his son, Lonnie F. Danser of Texas; and his wife, D.A. “Bobbie” Danser of Sumpter Valley. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Pathway Hospice in Baker City. Brehmer, Edward Harry – Obituary

Edward Harry Brehmer, 79, died June 27, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Nursing Home. At his request, Edward was cremated and there will be no memorial service. Edward married Iva Jeanne Jensen in 1956. After spending six years in the U.S. Navy, he worked as a logger for 10 years and ran his own logging business for five years. He left the logging industry in 1979 to open a restaurant, which he sold in 1989. Edward was an avid fisherman.
