Alta M. McFetridge, born February 8, 1900, in Enterprise, Oregon, passed away on September 3, 1978, in Portland. A lifelong resident of Wallowa County, she was a homemaker and active in her community, being a member of the Enterprise Christian Church and the Women’s Benefit Association. She married John O. McFetridge in 1918, who predeceased her in 1974. Her funeral service was held on September 7, 1978, at the Bollman Chapel, with burial at Enterprise Cemetery. She is survived by her sister and several nieces and nephews.

McFetridge, Elmer – Obituary

Elmer Clarence McFetridge, a lifelong resident of Wallowa County and retired rancher, died on February 8, 1965, at a nursing home in Dallas, Oregon, after four years of declining health. Born on July 11, 1887, near Enterprise to pioneer parents John and Martha McFetridge, he married Hattie Frances Ownbey in 1913, who survives him along with their daughter Lorretta, son Vernon, two brothers, and four grandchildren. Memorial services were held on February 11, with burial in Enterprise Cemetery.

McFetridge, S. M. – Obituary

S. M. Mac McFetridge passed away on June 15, 2007, at the age of 84. A veteran corpsman, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II across various Pacific locations.
