Albert W. Flenner, farmer and stock-raiser; P. O. Kansas; was born in Butler Co., Ohio, March 17, 1850, being a son of Isaac and Rachel A. (Hughes) Flenner; in 1856, he came with his father’s family to Coles Co., his mother having died in 1852. He was raised on the farm, and on arriving at his majority, he purchased the farm of his uncle, M. B. Isaac Flenner, farmer and stock-raiser; P. O. Kansas; was born in Butler Co., Ohio, Feb. 25, 1825; his father, Daniel Flenner, was among the pioneers of that State, coming from Maryland in 1809. He was a soldier in the war of 1812, and was a prominent citizen, holding many offices of trust in his county.
