News has been received here that Mrs. Nancy Ormsby, 69, died late Saturday night [May 15, 1960] in a hospital in Sturgis, S.D. Mrs. Ormsby, who lived at 412 Big Horn in Alliance, went to South Dakota Friday to visit her niece, Mrs. Eldon (Maxine) Herring. She apparently suffered a heart attack and was taken immediately to the hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Opal) Whitmack of Kearney, and Mrs. Ted (Margaret) Evans of Mullen; and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Morris of Hot Springs, N.M., and Mrs. Clara Moomey of Colorado Springs, Colo. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Funeral services are pending with the Landa Funeral Home in charge of arrangements here. Mr. W. J. Kaupp of Pueblo, Colo., who lived with Mrs. Ormsby here for two years, arrived here today.
