La Grande, Union County, Oregon
Caroline Emilia Jensen, wife of Ferdinand Jensen, died at the family residence Saturday at 11 o’clock in the evening. Death was sudden, following a short illness.
Mrs. Jensen had been a resident of La Grande for 20 years and leaves to mourn her loss, besides her widowed husband, two daughters; Helen and Edna; two sons; Henry and Edwin; and a brother, O.E. Rudd of Arbuckle, Cal.
Funeral services were held at the Snodgrass and Zimmerman chapel in La Grande Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev. Leif H. awes, of the Lutheran church, officiating. Burial took place in the Masonic cemetery.
