Thomas Richard “Dick” Conklin, 50, died Tuesday of a suspected heart attack at his Cove home.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Cove Cemetery under the direction of Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel. The Rev. David Moore of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will officiate.
Mr. Conklin was a real estate salesman for North Pine Realty. He belonged to Cove Lodge No. 91 A. F. and A. M., the Baker Consistory Scottish Rite, the La Grande Country Club, the Eagles Lodge, and the Union County Board of Realtors.
He married Janis Boettcher on June 1, 1963, in Carlton.
Survivors include his wife, Janis, of Cove; two daughters, Lezlie Jill and Heather Jan, also of Cove; a sister, Gay Childers of Wallowa; and other relatives.
