Leonard Carroll, a young man aged 23 years, was instantly killed at a point about three miles east of Hot Lake Monday afternoon by the current from a live electric wire.
The Grande Ronde Electric Co’s. wire’s were down and young Carroll was showing some friends where the wire was, and placed his hand on a board near the wire. The board formed a good conductor and the entire current passed to the young man’s body, causing instant death.
