Sent to Camp Sevier, transferred to Camp Merritt. Sailed for France May 13, 1918. Promoted to Corpl. August, 1917; to Sergt. 1918. Fought at Ypres, Cambrai and St. Quentin. Mustered out at Camp Jackson April 18, 1919.
