Entered service Oct. 3, 1917, at Buies Creek, N.C. Sent to Camp Jackson, S. C.; from there to Camp Hancock, Ga. Sailed for France Feb. 8, 1918. Promoted to rank of Corpl. January, 1918. Fought at St. Mihiel, Argonne. Returned to USA June 10, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Jackson June 30, 1919.
