Bennajah Woodbury was b. in Potton Township, P. Q., Dec. 11, 1841; d. Stoddard, unm., Apr. 2, 1905; son of Chauncey and Judith (Allard) Woodbury. He died on the Island in Island Pond, where he had been living as a hermit. He was a tenant of the David Seward house at 139, living there in 1878 alone. He never married.
