9. SYLVESTER NATHANIEL4 BARTLETT (Nathaniel3-2, Samuel1) was b. June 3, 1819; m. in Woodstock, Vt., -larch 29, 1847, Emeline R. Hart, b. May 10, 1824, in Pomfret, Vt. In -larch, 1867, he, with his family, left Cornish and settled on a farm in Claremont; where they spent the remainder of their lives. He d. April 19, 1891. His wife d. Feb. 19, 1900. Children, all b. in Cornish:
i. WALLACE N., b. June 15.1850,: m. Dec. 5. 1871, Mattie L. Thompson. Two children, both b. in Claremont : 1. Oscar E., b. June 9, 1873. 2. Lillian M., b. April 25, 1875. -Mr. Bartlett d. in Claremont NoV. 25. 1898.
ii. JAMES B., b. Oct. 28, 1854: in. April 30, 1878, Abbie S. Leet of Claremont. Two children, both b. in Claremont: 1. Edith F., b. June 15, 1890. 2. -Maurice J.. b. July 29, 1892. Mr. Bartlett lives in Claremont. Is a contractor of concrete and asphalt paving for roadways and sidewalks.
iii. LIZZIE E., b. July 23, 1856: m. Oct. 31, 1877, George Kenyon, who was a son of Daniel Kenyon. He d. Feb. 21, 1901, aged 45 1 24.
iv. ADDLE L., b. June 11, 1861; d. April 5. 1879, in Claremont.
