FOLLANSBE5 CARROLL, a brother of Joseph5 Carroll, who m. Mary Prince, was b, Nov., 1769. He came to Croydon in 1772. On Aug. 11, 1789, he m. Sarah Carroll, b. Jan. 5, 1770, and d. there March 9, 1848. He d. Sept. 3, 1850. They had a son, John Follansbe6, b. May 29, 1810. He m. March 20, 1836, Keziah Hardy, dau. of Tristam and Keziah (Frasier) Hardy, b. May 11, 1811. They rem. to Cornish in 1837 and spent the remainder of their lives there. She d. April 26, 1880. He d. May 5, 1879. Children, all b. in Cornish:

1. AURILLA ADALINE, b. March 12, 1837; d. Oct. 1, 1838.
2. HENRY, b. Feb. 29, 1838; d. Sept. 27, 1838.
3. SARAH J., b. Oct. 9, 1840; m. March 23, 1872, David A. Holland. Three children.
4. ELIZABETH A., b. Feb. 17, 1843; m. Jan. 7, 1888, Henry H. Tasker of Cornish. He d. April 8, 1894. No children.
5. HENRY L., b. April 23, 1845; m. Oct. 2, 1867, Lizzie Gunston. She had one child, Evelena. Mrs. Carroll d. April 8, 1901. He d. from the effects of gas poisoning March 9, 1909, in Lowell, Mass., at the home of his dau.
6. ELLA M., b. March 17, 1847, m. Dec. 25, 1868, James L. W. Thayer. Had six children. She d. May 27, 1888.
7. FOSTER P., b. Nov. 8, 1850; m. Aug. 15, 1880, Lena Healy. Three children.
