6. EBENEZER4 COLE (Stephen3, Ebenezer2, Ephraim1) was b. Sept. 14, 1808; m. first, June 2, 1830, Mary Brewster Kimball of Cornish, dau. of Eliphalet and Selinda (Ripley) Kimball, b. Dec. 2. 1806, d. Nov. 29, 1854; m. second, Jan. 1. 1856, Rebecca Tracy of Cornish, dau. of Stephen and Betsey (Boardman) Tracy, b. Aug. 25, 1818, and d. Nov. 16, 1893. Mr. Cole was a prominent man in Cornish; was selectman three years; represented the town in the legislatures of 1848. 1849. 1850 and 1851. He left town soon after he lost his first wife and went to Lebanon, where he spent the rest of his life. He d. April 20, 1892. Children, by first wife and b. in town:

    i. EMELIA ANN. b. June 15, 1831; d. June 24, 1831.
    ii. SUSAN ELIZABETH, b. Sept. 10, 1833; d. Aug. 5, 1834.
    iii. HENRY EBENEZER, b. July 22, 1835; m. -. Jane Wells. Living in Conn.
    iv. FLORILLA MILLS, b. Oct. 28, 1837; m. Jan. 10, 1859, Sheldon A. Hale. She d. in Wis. about 1903.
    v. LOVELL KIMBALL, b. Aug. 8, 1839; m. -, and lives in Col.

Child by second wife:

    vi. STEPHEN TRACY, b. Oct. 27, 1856; m. Nov. 8, 1882, Carrie Eudora Towne, dau. of Dr. Charles O. Towne. Mr. Cole lives in Lebanon. His wife was b. Dec. 11, 1856. Three children: 1. Bessie Blanche, b. Sept. 8, 1883. 2. Forest Burnap, b. Sept. 16, 1885. 3. Marion Sabra, b. March 31, 1887.
