While growing up in Enterprise, favorite childhood memories included entertaining the neighborhood by playing the piano with Orva and Bernice McFetridge on violin. Paradise, Oregon Grandpa Sturm passed away Sunday Sept. 25, 1921, after a serious illness of several days, while for months he has been in the very poorest of health. He was one of the old pioneer settlers of the north end, being 88 years old. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, four sons, Chas., Henry and Orlando Sturm, who live in Paradise, a daughter, Mrs. Lake Osbourne of Alberta, and several grandchildren besides a host of friends, who extend the sorrowing relatives their sympathy in their bereavement. Warren Jauregui, 76, recently of Enterprise, died on Feb.12, 2008, in his hometown of Vista, Calif. He was surrounded by his family and dear friends. A graveside ceremony took place on Feb. 21, 2008.
