Arthur Delbert Rose, 87, died Friday, Sept 30, 1994, at the Grande Ronde Retirement Residence, La Grande, after an extended illness. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Enterprise Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Morrison officiating. Bollman Funeral Home of Enterprise is in charge of the arrangements. She was born April 15, 1860, in Missouri, and had been a resident of Meacham for 47 years. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frank Hanlin of La Grande; a son, James B. La Grande 1912-2004 Nellie M. Heryford, 91, of La Grande died June 2 at a local care center. No services will be held. Mrs. Heryford was born Nellie Fisher on Nov. 7, 1912, in Cove. She attended school there and married Glen Heryford on Sept. 28, 1945. The couple moved to La Grande in 1980. She was a homemaker.
