Ken Ward Killed in Car Wreck Enterprise, Oregon Kenneth Wayne Ward, 40, of Pullman, Washington, formerly of Enterprise, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Landy Ward of Enterprise, was killed at 1:50 pm on Saturday, Jan. 25, 1969 in a two car collision of US Highway 195 about seven miles south of Pullman. Kenneth was driving a 1967 Plymouth sedan and was south bound when his car skidded on the icy road and collided with a north bound 1963 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by John George, a professor at WSU, who was accompanied by his wife, Mary Helen. Debrah Rae Collins, 50, died at her home in Enterprise on Dec. 20, 2004. She was born Nov. 2, 1954 in Lebanon to Ray Albert Davenport and Dorothy Louise (Ruggles) Davenport. Debrah worked as a kitchen helper at the hospital. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Davenport, niece Melissa Jarrad, and her great niece Josie Jarrad, and her great nephew Damien Jarrad. Courtney, Pinkney L. – Obituary

Mrs. B.T. Long received word Thursday evening of the death of her father, P. L. Courtney at Payette, Idaho and left for that place Friday. M. O. Courtney of Lostine accompanied her. P. L. Courtney was one of the earliest settlers of the valley and lived here until recent years when he was compelled to try a different climate to relieve asthma from which he was a sufferer. Smith, Daughter – Obituary

Child of Mr. And Mrs. L.J. Smith Enterprise, Oregon The death of another child was reported in the streets as being due to influenza, but the physicians belief this was not the case. The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Smith of East Crow creek and been ill for a week and tonsillitis developed, which apparently was the cause of death. Phil Crow, a 23-year resident of Olympia, Wash. died May 14, 2007. He was 62. Mr. Crow was born Sept. 14, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wis. to Henry and Mary Greenwood Loades, Sr. He graduated from Joseph High School in 1962 and attended Spokane Community College as well as General Motors University of Automotive Management. Enterprise, Oregon Mrs. Geo. Smith died at the Enterprise hospital Wednesday following an illness of over one month. She was only twenty years of age and leaves a husband and two little daughters to mourn her death. The body was taken to Lewiston today for interment. A sister, Mrs. O.M.
