Mrs. Hammack had been in poor health for several months and due to her physical disability, her son, Fred, went with her to Ontario where she might be near her other children and where she would receive medical care. Enterprise, Oregon A Former Enterprise Resident Dies in Colorado Hospital Lester Cook passed away at Fort Lyons near Las Animas, Colorado, Aug. 30th, 1920, at the age of twenty-one years and eight months. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines, December 1, 1916, and saw services in the Pacific, being sent home from the Philippines about one year ago following an attack of flu.
