Gertrude Levy, 88 died in Portland, Oct. 15 after a long illness. Mrs. Levy was born in Baker Jan. 5 1889 to Mose and Hannah Fuchs. She attended Baker High School and St. Helen’s Hall, Portland. Her late husband, Gus Levy was a pharmacist in Baker and La Grande and raised horses in Baker.
