Bailey, Debra Audean (Early) – Obituary

Debra Audean Bailey, 54, of Ontario, died May 16, 2007, at her home.

Her funeral was May 22 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Father Robert C. Irwin officiated. Burial was May 22 at Hillcrest East Cemetery in La Grande. Lienkaemper Funeral Chapel, Ontario, was in charge of arrangements.

Debra was born on Dec. 6, 1952, to William Grant and Josephine E. Bailey in La Grande. She was raised in Baker City where she attended St. Francis Academy and Baker High School, until she moved to Ontario in 1995. She worked for nine years for the Baker County drug and alcohol program and most recently at Holy Rosary Medical Center in Ontario as an admissions clerk.

Debra married Robert Early on June 12, 1998, at Payette, Idaho. She and Robert enjoyed many hours of riding four-wheelers and motorcycles and traveling in their motor home.

Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Ontario; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Alicia Martin of Baker City, and Chris and Jennifer Stoaks of Bend; one brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Gloria Bailey of Baker City; her mother-in-law and her husband, Chris and John Finley of Hermiston; her father-in-law, Bob Early of California; a brother-in-law, Jim Early of Roseburg; granddaughters, Kari Jo Martin of Missouri and Lexi Martin of Baker City; two nephews, Mic and Brent Bailey of La Grande; one great-nephew and two great-nieces and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
