This book contains a sketch of John Page Woodbury and his direct ancestry back to John Woodward of Salem, Massachusetts. While it is woefully short on facts in its printed form, it does present a brief compiled genealogy of the descendants of John Page Woodbury down to the eighth generation on the direct line of John, Peter, Peter, Peter, Joseph, John, John, John Page.
John Page Woodbury was born in Atkinson, New Hampshire on 24 May 1827. He served in a variety of positions over his lifetime, starting in the printing business for the Keene New Hampshire Sentinel and then carpentry work in Bangor, Maine and Lynn, Massachusetts. He served in his family's businesses until 1854 when he established a real estate and insurance office, the first of its kind in Boston. John Page Woodbury died at his home in Boston, Massachusetts on 17 Jan 1910.
