Richard R. “Dick” Weber, 77, a former Baker City resident, died Sept. 30, 2007, at his home in La Grande. At his request, there will be no funeral. Dick was born on Dec. 10, 1929, at Wellston, Okla., to Otto P. and Jewel B. Cunningham Weber. He and his sister, Chrissy, later moved with their mom to Ventura, Calif., where they were raised. Dick later joined the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed at Tillamook where he met Dorothy Wehinger, who became his wife of 26 years and lifelong friend for an additional 29 years.
